The Arizona Rattlers indoor football team won its third game with Delta Chi alumni in attendance, as the brothers cheered a 56-46 victory over the Nebraska Danger on Saturday, May 4.
The previous Rattlers’ wins with Delta Chi in the stands were in 2016 and 2018. Indoor football makes an ideal brotherhood event because it’s low cost, centrally located, and full of quality action from arguably the most exciting team in Arizona. The Rattlers currently sport an undefeated record (8-0) and won four championships in the past seven seasons.
The brothers met beforehand for food and drinks at The Park restaurant in Downtown Phoenix, and returned to The Park after the game to celebrate the victory.
Even though this wasn’t the first Rattlers’ Delta Chi brotherhood event, for most in attendance it was their first experience entirely with indoor football. Several showed interest in attending multiple games per year.
While this is the last scheduled brotherhood event before summer, we may get together for a happy hour or to watch a Diamondbacks baseball game. Otherwise, check back with us in September as we kick off a new schedule of brotherhood events.
