The Delta Chi Arizona Valley Alumni Chapter witnessed a dominating display of indoor football on Saturday night, as the Arizona Rattlers defeated the Cedar Rapids Titans 54-19.
It was the second time in three years Delta Chi has attended a Rattlers game, with similar seats and another victory. This time, it was over Delta Chi headquarters’ hometown team from Iowa.
The night began with dinner and drinks at nearby Coach’s Corner. Even though there was an Arizona Diamondbacks game going on next door at Chase Field, the brothers were able to get an outdoor table and enjoy some beautiful Arizona spring weather.
The game wasn’t ever really close, a reminder that the Rattlers may be the most competitive professional team in Arizona. Arizona has won league championships in four of its last six seasons in the Arena Football League and Indoor Football League.
This marks the fourth consecutive month of brotherhood nights for the Arizona Valley Alumni Chapter. We held a bowling event in December, a night of virtual shooting in January and pizza and arcade games were the theme in February.
We hope to throw a barbecue in April before the Phoenix summer makes events more challenging. Stay tuned for more details.
